Match the flange to the installed cylinder head and gasket, then fabricate the mating exhaust assembly with suitable materials, sealing-face control and engine-bay clearance.
- Installation: custom exhaust fabrication required
1460K's K-series exhaust-port pattern and 3/8 inch stainless steel plate determine the fabricated manifold connection. Trial-fit the flange against the original cylinder head and gasket before welding. Use a fabrication process suited to the flange and mating tubing, control welding distortion and keep the sealing face flat. Check clearance around the engine and body, use the engine service procedure for gasket and fastener installation, and leak-test the completed exhaust assembly.
