Apex Shift

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Apex Shift collects, why we use it, when service providers receive it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you place an order, create or use a customer account, request a return, join the newsletter, submit a review, contact support, or otherwise communicate with us.

  • Contact and account information, such as name, email address, phone number, account identifiers, and communication preferences.
  • Order and transaction information, such as products, amounts, billing and shipping details, payment status, fulfillment, returns, and support history. Payment-card details are handled by Shopify and its payment providers rather than stored by this storefront.
  • Vehicle and fitment information you choose to provide, such as year, make, model, trim, engine, and modifications.
  • Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, pages viewed, referrers, approximate location, cookie identifiers, and interactions with the site.
  • Messages, attachments, photographs, and other information included in contact, review, or return requests.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate and improve Apex Shift, including to:

  • Process payments, orders, shipping, returns, refunds, customer accounts, and warranty-support requests.
  • Provide product, fitment, order, and customer support and respond to communications.
  • Maintain carts, preferences, security, fraud prevention, and site reliability.
  • Measure site and campaign performance and improve products, navigation, and services.
  • Send transactional messages and, with consent or where permitted, marketing communications. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe method.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, safety, and enforcement obligations.

How Information Is Shared

We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the business, complete a request, protect the service, or comply with law. We do not sell personal information for money.

Recipients may include Shopify and payment providers; carriers, manufacturers, distributors, and fulfillment partners; Supabase for database and application services; Lovable and Vercel for hosting and deployment; Resend and other communications providers; Cloudflare for security and Turnstile; Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google advertising measurement, and other Google site services; and Convermax when fitment services are enabled. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information in a business transaction, with your direction or consent, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce terms, prevent fraud, or protect rights and safety.

Cookies, Analytics & Fitment Tools

The site uses essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain carts and accounts, remember privacy choices, prevent abuse, secure checkout, and provide requested site functions. Blocking essential technologies may prevent carts, sign-in, fitment, checkout, or other features from working correctly.

With consent where required, the site also uses nonessential analytics and advertising technologies to measure site and campaign performance, understand browsing and purchase activity, and evaluate marketing. Shopify's customer privacy controls apply the choice to Shopify analytics and Google Consent Mode.

Use the Privacy choices control in the site footer at any time to accept, reject, or change available nonessential technology settings. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies.

Retention & Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, and enforcement. Retention periods vary by record type and legal requirement.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices & Privacy Requests

You may unsubscribe from marketing, manage nonessential technologies through the site's Privacy choices control, manage browser cookies, update information through available account tools, or ask to access, correct, or delete personal information. Some requests are subject to identity verification and exceptions for records we must retain or uses permitted by law.

Privacy rights vary by location. Apex Shift will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate for exercising an applicable privacy right.
