Strange S5016 is a double-adjustable rear coil-over shock for the listed Honda drag-racing applications. Independent compression and rebound controls provide ten settings each, with clockwise adjustment increasing firmness.

The 1989-1991 Civic and CRX applications require the later Civic knuckle conversion specified by Strange.

For drag-racing applications. Confirm upper/lower mount configuration, knuckle arrangement and suspension travel before assembly. Use a 12 x 2.50 in I.D. spring selected with your chassis builder; the spring is sold separately. Set travel using the bumper-installed dimensions: 18.582 in extended, 14.51 in compressed and 4.072 in usable stroke. Turn the independent adjusters clockwise for firmer valving.
