CB-1461P bearing selection depends on the engine code, standard-size rod journal and measured oil clearance. Clean and inspect the rod housing, cap, oil passages and crankshaft journal; check that the cap locating arrangement matches the shells. Assemble with the specified rod-fastener procedure and measure oil clearance using a micrometer and bore gauge. Apply the specified assembly lubricant before final assembly.
