Turbo Shield-T4 - Shield Only - Titanium (Universal)

Description

Design Engineering 10144 is a Titanium T4 turbo heat shield supplied with five feet of 22-gauge stainless fastening wire. This shield-only package does not include the exhaust wrap and locking ties supplied in the complete wrap kit.

Match the turbine housing measurements: the T4 guide lists 20-22 in circumference and 2.75 in width, excluding flanges. The shield uses a Titanium LR outer layer with silica insulation and reinforced seams.

• Direct heat resistance: 1,800°F
• Radiant heat resistance: 2,500°F

Keep the wastegate actuator free. Do not pressure wash or repeatedly remove the shield after heat cycling.

Install & Results

Measure the turbine housing circumference and width, excluding flanges, before fitting the T4 shield. Install only with the engine and housing cool. Secure using the supplied stainless wire without overtightening anchors or obstructing the wastegate actuator. Keep oil and fuel fittings leak-free. Avoid repeated handling or removal after heat cycling.
