COMP Cams 59100 is a Quiktyme solid-swinging-follower camshaft for the Honda D16Z6 1.6L SOHC VTEC engine. The 256 VTEC grind is intended for street performance, with a listed operating range of 2,000–6,700 rpm.
Listed factory applications are 1992–1995 Civic EX/Si and 1993–1995 Civic del Sol Si with the original D16Z6 engine. Match the cam card, valve lash and mechanical clearances to the actual engine build.

Have a qualified Honda engine builder confirm the exact camshaft, cylinder head and supporting components. Use the exact part's cam card and the Honda service procedure to set cam timing and valve lash. Inspect the rocker/follower contact surfaces, lubricate as directed, and measure piston-to-valve, retainer-to-seal and spring coil-bind clearances. Confirm spring loads and installed heights for the actual cam lift. Rotate the engine by hand to check timing and interference before startup; follow the supplied lubrication and break-in procedure.
