Listed GM four-speed, Powerglide and reverse-pattern applications require the appropriate separately sold gate and, where specified, installation hardware.

Follow the manufacturer instructions for the specific transmission lever, bracket and cable adjustment. Test the neutral-safety function and all gear positions. Route the cable clear of exhaust heat, sharp bends and moving parts; floor drilling or console modification may be required. Follow the manual for vehicles with a locking steering column. Wire the accessory switches within the manufacturer limits.
